George Henry Jewitt.Phd, RIBAIt is with deepest sadness that we announce George passed away peacefully at home on 2nd May 2026 after a long illness.

A devoted husband to Kim and loving Dad to Jack, he was a dear friend to everyone who knew him. Well known locally through Builder's Merchant Company, the loss of George will be felt greatly by all his family and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate George's life will take place at Woodlands Crematorium on Friday 22nd May at 12.00pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations in George's memory can be given to Cancer Research UK, either at the funeral service or directly online at cancerresearchuk.org
